The Body Shop

Gate-side skincare fix near the SEA Main Terminal shops

The Body Shop sits in the Main Terminal retail zone at Seattle–Tacoma International Airport, handy if you’re killing 20–30 minutes before boarding and want actual products instead of souvenir keychains. It’s post-security, so you don’t have to gamble on TSA lines just to grab face wash or hand cream.

This is a standard Body Shop setup: travel-sized shower gels around $6–$8, body butters in the $12–$25 range, and plenty of TSA‑friendly 100 ml bottles. Stock skews toward staples like Tea Tree, Shea, and Vitamin E lines, so if you already use those at home, you’ll probably find your usual here without guessing on something new.

Staff typically run promo bundles (think 2-for deals on minis) that can beat what you’d pay at random airport newsstands for basic lotion. It’s also one of the few places in the Main Terminal where you can grab ethically branded skincare instead of generic travel kits. If you forgot something specific like cleanser or toner, checking here first can save a $20 mistake on a mystery pharmacy brand later on your trip.

Figure 5–10 minutes to browse, even at peak afternoon bank times in SEA’s Main Terminal. Quick tip: keep your receipt handy in your personal item; if a product doesn’t sit right on your skin on day one of the trip, The Body Shop stores in city centers sometimes help you out when you’re back home.
