McDonald's

B ★ 4 $$$$

Gate B-area McDonald’s is the cheapest hot meal in SEA Main.

You’ll find this McDonald’s in Concourse B on the Main terminal side, post-security, and it’s the budget move when everything around it wants $18+ for a sandwich. Price tier is firmly $, and a basic meal still lands closer to regular street pricing than most spots in B. It recently reopened after a renovation, so the counters and ordering setup feel newer than a lot of the concourse.

Lines here spike around morning departures (6–9 a.m.) and evening bank flights after 5 p.m., especially with families headed to Disneyland and Hawaii. Reviews call it “crowded but fast,” and they’re not wrong: the queue can look brutal, but it usually churns through in 10–15 minutes unless it’s a holiday weekend. Overall rating hovers around 4 stars, which is decent for airport fast food.

Menu is the standard McDonald’s playbook: Egg McMuffins and hash browns in the morning, McNuggets and Big Macs later, plus dollar-ish coffee instead of the $6 latte next door. If you only have $10–$12 to eat in Concourse B, this is the only spot where that actually buys a real hot meal. Kids’ Happy Meals show up in a lot of reviews because they keep total family spend under $40 instead of the $60+ people quote at other B Concourse options.

What regulars do: they mobile-order through the McDonald’s app when it’s turned on at this location, then walk up when their number hits the screen, shaving a few minutes off the line. Frequent flyers also grab breakfast here, then walk it back to gates like B7 or B11 because seating in the immediate area is limited and chaotic. Expect to hunt for a seat within a 2–3 gate radius.

Tip: If your flight leaves from A or N but your wallet says fast food, budget 10 extra minutes to walk to Concourse B, order, and carry everything back to your gate.
