Extended Stay Parking

Daily rates beat the Terminal Direct garage by a chunk

Extended Stay Parking at SEA sits in the Main Garage and targets trips of 7 days or more with lower daily rates than Terminal Direct on the floors above. You still park in the same concrete structure connected to the terminal by skybridges, but you give up the absolute closest levels to drop your price.

This option uses marked Extended Stay zones in the Main Garage, a short walk to the Main Terminal ticketing level via the skybridges above the drives. Instead of waiting 10–15 minutes for a remote shuttle, you roll your bags straight across to check-in and security. For early flights before 7:00 a.m., staying in the garage avoids hunting for a spot in distant surface lots in the dark.

SEA’s Main Garage height limit is about 6 feet 10 inches, so taller vans or lifted SUVs may not fit in Extended Stay Parking. Standard sedans, crossovers, and most unmodified SUVs park without issue on these levels. Electric vehicles can use Level 5 charging stations in the same garage, though those spaces may not be specifically tagged as Extended Stay, so plan to move once topped up.

Payment runs through the same ticket system as the rest of the Main Garage, with pricing based on a 24-hour clock from your entry time. Stays that stretch past 30 days sometimes trigger extra verification at the exit booth, so if you’re leaving your car at SEA longer than four weeks, factor in a few extra minutes at the pay station. Keep your entry ticket dry and out of the windshield heat so the barcode still scans when you return.

Tip: Snap a photo of your level and row number before you head across the skybridge; the Main Garage holds thousands of cars, and after 9 or 10 days away, every gray pillar looks the same.
