Terminal Main’s Chili’s Too is the default sit-down option
In SDF’s Main terminal, Chili’s Too® sits past security and basically fills the role of the airport’s full-service chain restaurant. It’s standard Chili’s American fare: burgers, fajitas, chicken tenders, and salads, so menu recognition is high if you already know the brand. Figure on $$ pricing, with mains typically landing in the low-to-mid teens and soft drinks running a few dollars.
This is one of the few places in Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport where you can get a sit-down meal and a drink at the same table after security in the Main terminal. You’ll see the usual Chili’s setup: bar area plus standard tables, with TVs often tuned to ESPN or CNN. It works for killing 45–60 minutes before boarding when you want something more substantial than a grab-and-go sandwich.
Food follows the national Chili’s template, so think burgers, ribs, fajitas, and appetizer staples like chips and salsa or southwestern eggrolls. If you stick with the familiar items you’d order at a land-side Chili’s, you’ll know what you’re getting at SDF too. Portions tend to be airport-sized but still decent, and it’s easy to spend around $20–$25 per person once you add tax and tip on a main plus a non-alcoholic drink.
Alcohol service also mirrors the chain: domestic beers, a few imports, basic wine options, and the usual Chili’s margaritas that show up on table tents and bar menus. Draft selection isn’t Louisville-bar level, but you can usually find at least one recognizable national beer by name and a simple house margarita that comes in under the price of a premium cocktail at a big-city hub.
Tip: If your flight boards in 30 minutes or less from the Main terminal, skip full entrees here and stick to one shared appetizer and a drink so you’re not sprinting to your gate with a boxed-up burger.
