Gate-side caffeine fix in T2
Right in Terminal T2 after security, this Starbucks is the safest quick option if you want a known coffee before a LATAM or international departure. Figure 5–10 minutes in line during morning peaks, less in the afternoon. The rating hovers around 4 stars, which tracks: consistent drinks, airport prices, not much drama.
Hours generally track the bank of long-haul flights in T2, with doors open for early departures before 06:00 and running until late-night departures around 22:00–23:00. If you land from a domestic hop into T2 and have under 45 minutes to connect, skip the line; you can easily burn 15 minutes here when two baristas are working.
Menu sticks to global Starbucks standards: espresso drinks, frappuccinos, basic teas, and pastries. Expect to pay around CLP $3,000–$4,000 for a latte and CLP $2,000–$3,000 for a muffin or medialuna. No local specialty coffee or pour-over here, but the milk options (including at least one non-dairy choice) help if you have dietary limits.
Food is the weak link, as usual. Most items come pre-made from a central kitchen, and sandwiches hit the CLP $4,000–$6,000 range. If you care about value, grab just a drink here and save actual meals for elsewhere in SCL, like the larger food court areas in T2 with sit-down spots.
Seating is thin: think a handful of stools and small tables right off the T2 corridor, often full during the 07:00–09:00 wave. Many people just order to go and walk back to gates, which sit within a 5–10 minute walk depending on your pier.
Tip: Mobile ordering is inconsistent in Chile, so plan on ordering at the counter and pad your schedule by 10 minutes if you want a coffee before boarding at T2.
