Between Gates 7 & 8, this is the sit-down bar

The Stella Bar sits airside in SAV’s Main terminal between Gates 7 and 8, and it’s the closest thing to a proper bar if you’re not in a lounge. It’s small, open to the concourse, and usually pulls a mix of outbound Savannah leisure traffic and a few business flyers killing 30–40 minutes before boarding.

Food is standard airport pub fare: burgers, sandwiches, wings, and salads, all generally in the $12–$20 range as of 2025. Expect draft and bottled beer, basic cocktails, and wine by the glass, typically $8–$14. If you want a full meal before an evening departure, plan on 30 minutes from sit-down to check drop when it’s moderately busy.

Service pacing depends heavily on departure banks; during the morning and late-afternoon rush around the Main terminal gates, a ticket can sit 10–15 minutes before drinks land. Early flights before 9 a.m. or mid-day gaps see faster turnarounds, so check your boarding time and the number of open seats at the bar before committing.

Menus lean heavily into fried options, so if you’re heading to a tight connection with thin stomach tolerance, stick with a straightforward grilled chicken sandwich or salad and skip extra sides. Beer choice runs to national labels with a couple of regional taps; if you care about local, ask what’s from Georgia or South Carolina before ordering.

Tip: restrooms for this section of the Main terminal sit just a short walk past Gate 8, so pay and use them before you head back toward the lower-numbered gates to board.
