Between Gates 3 & 5, this is SAV’s grab-and-go bagel stop
Great American Bagel sits in the Main Terminal between Gates 3 and 5, right on the small concourse walkway. It’s a basic counter setup with a few seats, geared toward quick orders before short hops on Delta, American, or United. You’re looking at standard bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and drip coffee rather than anything artisan. Think early-morning fuel, not destination dining.
Breakfast runs all day, but lines spike around the 6:00–8:00 a.m. bank of departures from the Main Terminal. Expect to pay around $4–$5 for a plain bagel with cream cheese and closer to $7–$9 for a sausage-egg-cheese breakfast sandwich. Coffee lands in the $3–$5 range depending on size. It’s all post-security, so you need a boarding pass in hand before you can walk up and order.
Menu boards usually list a dozen or so bagel flavors plus simple deli-style sandwiches, with turkey, ham, and veggie options prepped for the lunchtime crowd leaving from Gates 3 and 5. Quality is on par with a mall food court bagel chain: filling, fairly salty, and reliable, just not special. If you’re picky about espresso, skip it here and grab drip coffee or iced coffee only.
Plan on 10 extra minutes before boarding if your flight uses Gate 3 or Gate 5; that’s enough time to grab a bagel and coffee and still be at the gate before group 2 or 3 is called.
