Economy Blue Lot

Surface lot

$7 a day gets you into Savannah’s Economy Blue Lot

Daily max is $7 in the Economy Blue Lot, which makes it the on-airport choice for people chasing the lowest rate without leaving SAV property. It’s a surface lot out past the other budget sections, priced in the same higher “value/economy” tier that jumped from $5 to $7 in the last round of increases.

Figure on a 9‑minute walk to the Main terminal from Blue, depending on where you find a space in the rows. There’s no garage cover here, just standard open-air parking with clearly marked sections that line up roughly with the other economy colors across the road from the pricier options closer to the building.

Rates line up with the rest of SAV’s budget surface parking: $1 per hour, capped at $7 per day. That puts Blue on the same cost rung as the Red and overflow/value areas, so you’re really choosing by space availability and walking tolerance instead of price. If you used to park further out to save a couple of dollars, that advantage disappeared with the last rate hike.

Regulars who only care about paying the minimum will pull into whatever economy color—Blue, Red, overflow—has spots first, then bail out to off-airport hotel lots around Pooler when the on-airport economy areas are jammed on holiday weekends. Reporters noted a lot of grumbling from occasional leisure travelers who intentionally picked these furthest lots, only to see their daily cap bumped to $7 anyway.

Tip: If you’re flying out on a peak day, follow the airport signs for all economy colors and grab the first open section; don’t burn extra minutes driving around hunting specifically for Blue when the daily rate is the same $7 across the budget lots.
