The Grove

Concourse B · : Around gates but no specific one mentioned ★ 3 $$$$

Main Terminal Concourse B is where you find The Grove

This is RSW’s sit-down, table-service spot near the Concourse B gates in the Main terminal, with a bar and full menu instead of a grab-and-go counter. Expect airport pricing in the $$ range; think $15–$20 salads and sandwiches plus tax and tip. It’s one of the only places in the concourse where a server takes your order, so it fills up fast before banked departures.

The Grove runs as a standard restaurant and bar on the concourse side of security, so you’re fine staying near your gate while you eat. Reviews from Donna K. and others peg the food as “okay” and “better than pizza,” but not something you’d drive out to Fort Myers for. Figure on typical airport choices: salads, burgers, chicken sandwiches, and a couple of heavier entrees in the $18–$25 range, plus draft beer, wine, and basic mixed drinks at the bar.

Service time is the real tradeoff here. Multiple travelers mention slow pacing, with Peter S. saying they had to rush to finish before boarding. In peak waves, mains can take 25–35 minutes to arrive, and total sit time can hit 45 minutes or more. If your departure from Concourse B boards inside 40 minutes, this isn’t the move for a full meal. The menu also draws some criticism for limited vegetarian and lighter choices beyond a salad or two.

Regulars with long layovers often just grab a barstool, order a drink, and maybe one appetizer so they can pay and walk in under 25 minutes. Others save The Grove for delays or mid-day gaps of an hour or more, using it as a change of pace from the fast-food counters closer to the gates. To keep control of both time and cost, ask your server for the quickest items on the menu before you order.
