Aviators

Concourse B · : Most reviews mention Aviators as a bar/restaurant located near the B concourse gates ★ 3 $$$$

Gate-side bar stools by Concourse B, not a destination meal

Aviators sits on the Main terminal’s Concourse B side, essentially in the middle of the B gates, and most people use it to pass 45–60 minutes with a drink before boarding. It’s a basic bar & grill setup with TVs, high-tops, and a short food menu, all post-security, so you’re already past the TSA line when you sit down.

Menu hits are standard: nachos, burgers, wings, salads, and a few sandwiches, all in the $$ range with mains often landing in the mid-teens and beers several dollars higher than in town. One Yelp reviewer mentioned grabbing nachos and a beer and calling it “nothing special but did the job,” which is the pattern here. Don’t come expecting local Gulf seafood or anything beyond typical bar food.

Drinks are the main draw. Multiple Google reviews talk about “a couple beers before our flight” and describe the service as friendly when the bar isn’t slammed. Expect airport-level pricing on cocktails, wine, and drafts; several travelers call out the tab as steep even by RSW standards, so that second round can push your bill north of $30 quickly.

Food quality tends to sit right at that 3.0-star mark: “average,” “okay,” and “nothing special” show up a lot in reviews. Burgers and wings are the safer plays; skip anything that sounds overly ambitious for a small gate bar kitchen. During busy departure banks off Concourse B, a few people report slow or distracted service, so don’t cut it closer than 45 minutes to boarding if you plan a hot meal.

Tip: If Aviators looks packed, grab a drink at the bar only and eat something simpler at the gate; you’ll keep an eye on your boarding group at the B concourse and avoid waiting on a check when the restaurant is backed up.
