Hourly meeting space that actually exists inside ROC
Conference Room B sits inside Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport and runs on an hourly rental model, mainly used for quick meetings and small briefings. It’s one of the few spots in the terminal where you can close a door, spread out some papers, and actually hear the person across from you without terminal noise drowning things out.
This room is set up boardroom-style with a central table and enough chairs for a small team, typically in the 6–10 person range. There’s standard airport-style Wi‑Fi, so plan on using your own laptop and hotspot backup if the network feels slow. Power outlets line the walls and usually cover all seats if you bring a power strip.
Bookings for Conference Room B go through airport administration or the information desk, and they’ll quote you a flat hourly rate rather than per person pricing. Because it’s managed like a facility, not a lounge, you won’t find snacks, bar service, or printing services built in. If you need coffee or water for the group, grab it from concessions in the main terminal a few minutes before your start time.
Plan your timing around your flight: block the room for at least 60 minutes if you’re trying to squeeze in a proper meeting before boarding. Build in 10–15 minutes on each side for people to walk from the security checkpoint or gates, especially if someone in the group hasn’t flown out of ROC recently and needs directions from the info desk.
