Accessible Parking

ADA spaces sit directly next to the RNO terminal doors

Accessible Parking at Reno–Tahoe International is in the Main terminal lot, right next to the building, so the walk to the ticketing counters is only a few dozen yards. These spots follow ADA guidelines, with extra width for ramps and lifts plus adjacent access aisles marked on the pavement.

You enter the same Main terminal parking entrance used for short‑term parking, then follow signage to the clearly marked Accessible Parking rows closest to the terminal. Because the distance is so short, this is usually the best option at RNO if you use a wheelchair, walker, or have limited mobility and want to avoid crossing larger sections of the lot.

Standard airport parking rates apply in this section of the Main terminal lot, so you pay the same posted hourly and daily prices as nearby short‑term stalls. Payment works through the regular ticket and pay‑on‑exit system at the gates, with credit cards accepted at the exit machines and staffed booths during normal airport operating hours.

Marked curb space in front of the Main terminal pairs with this lot, so you can combine Accessible Parking with curbside assistance from airline staff or a wheelchair attendant. The terminal frontage is only one short crosswalk from these ADA spaces, which cuts down how long you need to be outside in winter conditions at Reno’s elevation.

Plan your arrival so you hit the Main terminal entrance at least 90 minutes before a domestic flight, slightly more during ski season or holiday weekends. That buffer gives you time to find an ADA stall, unload mobility devices, and request wheelchair help at the ticket counter without clock‑watching every minute.
