It’s signed as daily/hourly parking and priced at $15 per day, aimed at people who don’t want shuttle timing in their trip math. Compared with off-site economy lots that require a bus ride, the draw here is that ultra-short walk with your bags.

RIC notes that the North (and South) garages give you less than 60 minutes free, then the regular daily/hourly rates kick in. That makes North Parking Garage useful for quick drop-offs, pickups, or meeting someone at baggage claim, as long as you’re in and out inside that first free hour. Stay even a bit longer and you’re into paid territory, so watch the clock if you only need a curbside-style stop.

Official airport info lists these garages as daily parking at $15/day, while ParkingAccess shows a separate “Hourly Garage Parking” at $24/day. That $24 product isn’t clearly labeled as North vs. South garage, so treat it as generic close-in garage pricing rather than a special North Garage tier. If you see confusing language on third-party sites, default to the airport’s own posted rate signs at the entrance plaza.

Regular RIC flyers use the daily garages when they want to skip the shuttle entirely and just walk into Terminal 1 with carry-ons. That’s especially useful for early-morning departures in the 5–7 a.m. bank or late-night arrivals after 10 p.m., when waiting 10–15 minutes for a bus feels longer than it is.
