Economy Parking B

Long-term economy

Shuttle-based budget parking a bit farther out than Daily Garage

Economy Parking B at Richmond International Airport charges $7 per day, undercutting the terminal-adjacent Daily Garage by a few dollars if you’re leaving the car for several nights. It’s a long-term economy lot, meant for trips measured in days, not hours. Figure your real cost in “trip days,” not calendar days: a 6-day trip runs you $42 plus tax, which is hard to beat near RIC.

This lot sits on Ferncroft Road just off Airport Drive, directly across from the Sheraton Richmond Airport Hotel, so you’re outside the main loop instead of circling the terminal. It’s signed as Economy B as you approach from I-64 via Airport Drive. If you hit the terminal parking ramp, you’ve gone too far; loop back toward Ferncroft and follow the blue economy signs.

Parking here relies on the complimentary EasyPark shuttle, which runs 24/7/365 between Economy B and the Terminal 1 departures area. Build in at least 10–15 minutes for the shuttle ride plus wait time, on top of your airline’s recommended check-in window. Compared with Economy A, the use case is basically the same: low-cost, leave-the-car-and-shuttle-in long-term parking.

Regulars pick Economy B when they want cheaper long-term parking and don’t care about a short bus ride instead of walking from a garage. The trade: you save a few bucks per day but trade away weather-proof walking access. For a week-long trip, that savings usually pays for airport coffee both ways.

Tip: Snap a photo of your row marker and the EasyPark stop number when you park; it makes the 2 a.m. return shuttle drop-off a lot less confusing.
