Gate-side fashion stop in T1 for last-minute outfits
Just past security in Terminal T1, Galleria sits in the main departures shopping strip as one of Yangon International Airport’s primary fashion stops. You’ll walk by it on the way to several T1 gates, so it’s easy to duck in without detouring far from boarding areas.
Galleria focuses on fashion and accessories rather than souvenirs, with clothing, bags and basic accessories that work for both business and leisure trips out of T1. Expect airport pricing rather than city-mall deals, but it can still beat scrambling for a shirt or extra layer from hotel shops later in the trip.
Most travelers see it while moving between security and the central seating zones in T1, so it works as a quick scan rather than a long browse. If you’re short on time before a regional flight, walk the T1 concourse once, and you’ll likely pass Galleria in the same stretch as a few duty free outlets and snack spots.
Hours generally track T1’s international departures bank, opening early for morning flights and staying open into late evening when the last departures leave Yangon. Staff are used to passengers who have 15–20 minutes before boarding, so checkout is usually fast and packaging is light enough to carry to the gate.
Tip: screenshot any size or color you like on your phone as you enter; it makes pointing and paying at Galleria much quicker when T1 calls your flight early for boarding.
