Gate C16 in Terminal 2 is your last-minute fix spot

This Tripadvisor shop sits right by gate C16 in Terminal 2, handy if you realize at 7:45 p.m. that you forgot something before their 8 p.m. close. It’s post-security, so you can run over during boarding groups and still make a flight on the C concourse. Morning flights are covered too, with a 4 a.m. open that lines up with the earliest bank of departures from RDU.

Think travel essentials more than souvenirs: phone chargers, headphones, power banks, neck pillows, eye masks, and basic toiletries stacked near the front. Prices sit in the usual airport range, so assume you’re paying a few dollars more than Target for the same toothpaste or cable. On the upside, it’s faster than hunting through a bigger shop at 5:10 a.m. when you just need contact lens solution and a small pack of wipes.

Snacks and drinks lean standard—chips, candy bars, gum, and bottled water in the cooler by the back wall. Figure $3–$5 for most grab-and-go items. If you’re flying out of a non-C gate in Terminal 2, it still works as a quick stop while you walk the concourse, but don’t burn time here if boarding for a D gate flight starts in under 15 minutes. One tip: hit this shop at 4–5 a.m. if you need cables or adapters; later in the day certain basics can run low.
