Travel@ease

Post-security Travel@ease sits just past the Main checkpoint

Travel@ease sits airside in the Main terminal, just beyond the single security checkpoint that serves all PWM gates. You’ll see it on the concourse after you clear TSA, before you hit the smaller snack kiosks that line the walk to the gates. It functions as the airport’s general travel shop, so expect magazines, last-minute toiletries, and some Maine-themed souvenirs under one roof.

Hours generally track the first and last flights of the day, roughly 4:00 a.m. through early evening when the final departures leave Portland International Jetport. Selection leans airport-basic: think neck pillows, earplugs, phone chargers, and a few mid-range headphones priced higher than downtown, as usual. If you forgot toothpaste, a razor, or over-the-counter meds before a 6:00 a.m. departure, this is the reliable stop.

Gift-wise, Travel@ease stocks Maine-branded T‑shirts, logo mugs, and boxed local candies in the $10–$25 range, which works if you skipped souvenir shopping in town. The newsstand side carries national newspapers and an assortment of travel paperbacks, helpful on longer connections through PWM’s Main terminal when the Wi‑Fi gets crowded. Snacks lean packaged: chips, candy bars, nuts, and bottled drinks, handy if the nearby cafés are slammed.

Cards are accepted for small purchases, and prices sit at the usual airport markup compared with Portland’s city shops. Stock can run low on popular chargers and basic pain relievers after the early-morning rush of flights between 5:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. If you know you need a specific item, swing by right after security instead of waiting until boarding time.
