Gate 3 side of Main terminal, this is Shipyard Brewport
Shipyard Brewport sits airside in PWM’s Main terminal near gate 3, so it works for any of the airport’s short walk gates. It’s one of the only sit-down spots past security, with a full bar centered on Shipyard’s Maine beers. You’re looking at typical airport pricing: drafts in the $8–$11 range, burgers and flatbreads around $14–$18.
The menu leans pub-style: think burgers, sandwiches, wings, and a couple of seafood nods that rotate with the season. Expect food wait times of about 15–25 minutes during the morning bank around 6:00–8:00 a.m. and again for afternoon departures around 3:00–5:00 p.m. Breakfast service usually runs through late morning, then the board flips to the full lunch and dinner lineup.
Beer is the headliner, with multiple Shipyard taps plus a few guest options; ask what’s on draft before defaulting to bottles. A pint often prices only $1–$2 more than a domestic bottle, so it’s the better value. If you want to keep it quick, bar seats tend to turn faster than the tables along the windows that face the single runway.
Service rhythm tracks flight waves, and with Portland’s compact Main terminal, the place can fill up fast before the 5–7 p.m. departures. Tabs with tip commonly land around $25–$35 per person for an entrée and a drink. There’s no separate takeaway counter, but they do standard to-go boxes if you’d rather eat at your gate a few minutes away.
Tip: If your flight boards in under 40 minutes, grab a seat at the bar, order a draft and one small plate, and let the bartender know your gate and departure time so they pace the check accordingly.
