Gate 6 in Terminal B is where you’ll find VIP Lounge Domestic

This is the smaller Priority Pass lounge at PVR, tucked by Gate 6 in Terminal B’s domestic departures area. Local Facebook groups actually rate it higher than the bigger two‑story VIP lounge on the international side, mainly for calmer vibes and more attentive staff. If you’re flying within Mexico from PVR, this is the lounge you get.

The lounge opens during flight operations, so it usually tracks the first and last domestic departures of the day. There’s no strict 24‑hour schedule posted, so don’t count on a pre‑dawn 4:00 a.m. stay unless your airline is running flights then. If your outbound is one of the last evening departures, expect the staff to start packing up shortly after the final boarding calls.

Access is straightforward: it’s post‑security in Terminal B and available to Priority Pass holders plus walk‑ins. A day pass runs about $30 per person, charged at the front desk. That math starts to work if airport beers are running you 120–150 MXN each and you plan on having two drinks and some food during a 90‑minute wait.

Food reports from locals say this domestic lounge beats the larger international VIP lounge on both taste and service. Don’t expect a full restaurant, but you can usually count on a light buffet with hot snacks, basic sandwiches, and sweets rather than just chips in a bowl. If you care about a quieter meal before a 1.5‑hour hop to Mexico City or Tijuana, this side of the airport tends to feel less chaotic.

Drinks are included with access; you’ll find standard bar liquor, Mexican beer, and soft drinks rather than high‑end labels. Given the $30 day‑pass price, using the bar for two cocktails or three beers easily justifies skipping a terminal bar tab. Coffee is typically from a machine, so manage expectations if you’re picky about espresso shots before your 10:00 a.m. departure.

There aren’t many public complaints yet, mostly because detailed reviews are thin compared with the better‑known international lounge in Terminal A. Seating is limited, though, so during banked departures around midday and early evening, the room by Gate 6 can fill fast. Power outlets can be hit‑or‑miss by each armchair, so keep a charged power bank handy if you need to work before boarding.

Tip: if you hold Priority Pass and have both domestic and international segments the same day, save your swipe for this Terminal B lounge before your Mexican domestic leg, then use gate seating on the international side later.
