VIP Lounge 145

T2

Most PVG blogs skip Lounge 145 entirely

VIP Lounge 145 sits in Shanghai Pudong’s Terminal 2 and only shows up reliably in DragonPass, while trip reports focus on No. 69 and the Air China VIP Lounge instead. If your app dumps you at “VIP Lounge 145” with no photos or reviews, you’re dealing with one of the least-documented lounges in PVG T2.

The lounge is airside in T2, so you already need to be through immigration and security for an international departure out of this terminal. Access at the door runs through DragonPass, with no Priority Pass or airline-issued business-class access listed in current databases. If you don’t hold DragonPass, assume walk-up access isn’t an option and plan on using your airline’s own lounge or the better-known No. 69 Lounge instead.

Since no menus, food photos, or drink lists have surfaced for Lounge 145, set expectations closer to a basic Chinese contract lounge than to a flagship like Air China’s main T2 space. Think self-serve snacks, soft drinks, and maybe a few hot items at peak times, not made-to-order dishes or premium liquor. With that in mind, eat properly in the main T2 concourse or at your hotel, then treat the lounge—if you go—as a seat with power rather than a meal stop.

Opening hours for VIP Lounge 145 aren’t published anywhere more precise than “aligned with flight schedule” on aggregator sites. PVG’s long-haul banks typically run from early morning into late evening, so don’t assume 24/7 operations, and be cautious with very late departures after 23:00 or very early ones before 06:00. If your flight leaves in the shoulder hours, have a backup plan in case the lounge shutters between banks.

With no real-world photos or user reports yet, it’s smart to treat your first visit to Lounge 145 as recon: note exact location within T2, operating hours, and what food and power options you find. One practical tip: screenshot your DragonPass QR and the lounge name “VIP Lounge 145” before you head to the airport, so you can show staff quickly even if airport Wi‑Fi or mobile data in PVG T2 decides to misbehave.
