Harvest and Grounds

New-school coffee bar in PSP’s Main Terminal

One of the few non-chain options in Palm Springs International, Harvest and Grounds sits airside in the Main Terminal and scores about an 8 out of 10 in recent traveler ratings. It runs as a coffee-plus-light-bites counter, so think espresso, pastries, and grab-and-go items rather than a full restaurant.

Hours track with the first and last bank of flights, roughly from the first TSA line around 5:00 a.m. through the last Main Terminal departures in the evening. That early opening makes it a useful stop for 6:00–7:00 a.m. departures when other spots in PSP might still be gearing up.

Pricing lands in standard airport territory: expect drip coffee in the $4–$5 range and espresso drinks a couple of dollars higher, with pastries and light snacks hovering around $5–$8. It’s quicker and usually calmer than lining up at a national chain, which helps when your boarding time is under 30 minutes away.

The food side leans to light bites: pastries, packaged snacks, and simple cold items you can take to any gate in the Main Terminal within a 2–3 minute walk. If you need a real meal before a long leg, pair this stop with a sit-down spot elsewhere in PSP and use Harvest and Grounds mainly for caffeine and something small.

There aren’t many detailed complaints or regular hacks online yet, which fits a straightforward counter-service setup. Lines do spike in the 7:00–9:00 a.m. window when several Main Terminal departures cluster, so build in an extra 10 minutes during that wave.

Pro tip: order your drink first, then scan the pastry case while they pull shots; it keeps you moving and gets you back toward your gate with coffee in hand in under 10 minutes.
