Two-minute covered walk to T1, at long-stay prices on the high side

P2 Multipiano sits directly next to Pisa’s T1 terminal, with a marked pedestrian path that gets you from car to departures in about 2 minutes. It’s the long-stay option people pick when covered parking and staying as close as possible beat saving a few euros. The trade-off: at around €26,00 per day, it’s notably more expensive than the open-air long-stay lots further out in the airport complex.

This is a multistorey garage signed as P2 Multipiano, right by the main terminal access road. Spaces are uncovered on the roof level and covered on the lower decks, so in summer heat or winter rain most drivers hunt for a spot on the first few levels. It’s officially classed as long-stay, so it makes more sense for trips of several days than for a quick 3–4 hour pickup, where P1 or short-stay bays closer to arrivals often work out better.

Pricing runs at a flat daily rate of about €26,00, charged via automated barriers that read the barcode from your online booking or a ticket pulled on entry. Regulars on Parkos say they always prebook specific time windows and aim to arrive slightly early; the system at PSA often lets you in a bit before your slot as long as you exit on time, avoiding extra charges. No staffed kiosk means you pay at machines near the terminal and exits, card-ready, before driving out.

Access is fully post-barrier but technically pre-security, with a short covered walkway feeding straight into T1’s departures level. The terminal itself is small enough to cross end-to-end in a few minutes, so from P2 you can realistically be at your check-in desk within 5–7 minutes of locking the car. If you’re checking bags on a busy morning departure bank, still build a 90-minute buffer, as airline queues at Pisa can spike quickly.

Watch out for Italian-only signage inside the airport parking complex and inside P2: several Parkos reviews mention confusion finding the right floor, exits, and pedestrian route to T1. Take a quick photo of your level and zone markings before you walk off, and when you enter follow signs marked “Terminal T1” on foot rather than just heading for the nearest staircase.

Practical tip: prebook online, aim to park on a covered level, and on arrival back into PSA pay your ticket at the terminal machines before walking the 2 minutes back to P2, so you’re not blocking the exit barrier while sorting payment.
