Lines at Costa in T2 too long? So! Coffee is the backup.
So! Coffee sits airside in Terminal 2, near the Schengen gates, and usually has shorter queues than Costa or PAUL in the main hall. It’s a mid-range option (think $$: cappuccino price closer to city-centre chains than indie cafés) and functions more like a gate-side kiosk than a sit-down café. You’ll see it mentioned on T2 maps as one of the small coffee points close to boarding areas.
Opening hours roughly track morning and evening waves, with shutters usually up before the 06:00 departures and staying open into late-afternoon flights. Expect standard machine espresso drinks, basic black coffee, and a few bottled soft drinks in the 0.5 L range. One TripAdvisor review sums it up: “less busy than Costa… coffee was okay,” which is about right.
Food is mostly backup fuel: packaged sandwiches, croissants, and sweet pastries in the 70–150 CZK window. Reddit regulars say they grab caffeine here but hold off on food unless they’re desperate, pointing out that quality lags behind what you’d get at PAUL further back in the T2 shopping zone. If you land hungry, you’re better off eating earlier in the terminal and using So! Coffee as a liquids-only stop.
Seating is limited to a handful of small tables and some high stools, and those fill fast during the 07:00–09:00 bank of departures. Many people just order to go and sit at their gate 20–30 meters away. Complaints also flag standard airport markups and coffee that feels weak compared to what you’d pay 70 CZK for in the city.
Tip: Check the Costa and PAUL lines in the main T2 hall first; if boarding is inside 20 minutes or the queues are stacked 10+ deep, hit So! Coffee near your gate for a quick espresso and move on.
