Free snacks, sockets and quieter seats: that’s Business Executive Lounge
Past security in Terminal 1, the Business Executive Lounge sits in the transit hall on the right just after the checkpoint, signed clearly and open daily 04:00–21:00. It’s one of the only spots at POZ where you can reliably find power outlets, soft seating and basic food without hovering for a chair at gates 10/11.
This is the contract lounge for LOT and Lufthansa business/status passengers, and Priority Pass works here as well as paid entry at the door. The space feels more like a compact designer living room than a generic waiting area, with modern chairs and enough tables to park a laptop for an hour before a Schengen or non‑Schengen flight.
Food is simple but fine for a short stay: think cold snacks, a few small bites, and self-serve drinks rather than a full meal, matching what regulars describe in reviews. Morning visits usually see better stock, while some Priority Pass users report that by around 20:00, the buffet can be picked over with mostly light snacks left.
Non‑Schengen passengers can still use the lounge even though it sits in the Schengen zone; passport control is literally just outside the door. Flyers on evening LOT or Lufthansa departures often camp here with coffee and Wi‑Fi, then leave 10–15 minutes earlier than boarding time to clear passport control and walk straight to their gate.
Watch out for crunch times when two or three departures sit within the same 60‑minute window, as this small airport fills quickly and the lounge can feel nearly as crowded as the public area. A lot of status passengers use it mainly for charging, drinks and a bathroom stop, then grab more substantial food in landside cafés before re-clearing security.
Tip: if you’re on a Schengen flight and have Priority Pass, plan 60–90 minutes here from around 04:30 or after work hours, then head to your gate only when boarding shows on screens inside the lounge.
