Right after POZ security, this lounge wins on light, not food
The Business Executive Lounge in Terminal 2 sits immediately to the right after security by Gates 1–4, and regulars mainly praise its big windows, quirky designer chairs, and calm feel over anything on the buffet. Access runs Mon–Sat 04:00–21:00 and Sun 04:00–21:30, with entry via Priority Pass, Mastercard, Amex, airline invites, or paid walk-up on Schengen departures.
Figure roughly 50 seats in one compact room, so once two A320s are boarding from gates 1–4 the space feels tight and you may end up in the less comfortable side chairs instead of the nicer armchairs and sofas. Daylight is the selling point here, with seating lined up along the windows in a way the main gate area in Terminal 1 simply can’t match.
Food runs to a light buffet: think cold cuts, cheese, bread rolls, packaged snacks, and maybe a small hot item rather than a full hot spread, very much small-regional-airport level. TripAdvisor reviews repeatedly say staff are excellent and welcoming even when the food is described as basic, so service tends to beat the catering.
Drinks are self-serve with coffee machines, soft drinks, and standard beers and spirits rather than premium labels, all included once you’re in via Priority Pass or similar. Figure this as a place to grab a couple of drinks and a snack before a LOT or Ryanair hop inside Schengen, not a spot to replace dinner before a 21:00 departure.
Wi‑Fi is free and reasonably fast, and there’s a small business corner behind reception with desktop PCs and tablets if you need to print a document or answer email without opening your own laptop. Toilets sit inside the lounge itself, so once you’ve checked in at the front desk you don’t have to head back into the main concourse for a quick stop.
Non‑Schengen passengers can still use it on, say, a later non‑Schengen LOT service, but you need to leave with a few extra minutes to walk to the nearby passport control right outside the lounge. Many Priority Pass regulars time their arrival for 30–40 minutes before boarding, grab Wi‑Fi and a drink, then head straight to gates 1–4 rather than lingering.
Tip: after security at POZ, ignore the passenger flow heading straight toward Gates 1–4 and instead turn hard right immediately to find the lounge door; it’s easy to walk past if you’re not looking for the Business Executive Lounge sign.
