Valet Parking

Valet

Valet parking signs mention $50/day, but no stand in sight

Piarco’s so-called Valet Parking lists rates of $50.00 per day or $350.00 per week and sits “next to the terminal” on paper, but frequent-flyer forums and local reviews don’t mention anyone actually using it. Regulars talk about the main car park in front of the North Terminal and taxis, not a staffed valet lane.

The product is advertised as valet, meaning you’d hand over keys and walk straight into the terminal forecourt just a short distance away, instead of hunting for a space. But unlike the clearly marked standard car park at Piarco, there’s no consistent online reference to a designated valet drop, pickup booth, or ticketing desk operating day-to-day beside the terminal roadway.

Pricing at $50.00 per day and $350.00 per week puts Valet Parking at the very top end of on-airport options in Trinidad, so it only makes sense if that “next to the terminal” location actually translates into a true handoff service at the North Terminal curb. With the terminal footprint fairly compact, many flyers just park in the front lot or pay a taxi from Port of Spain instead.

What regulars actually describe: self-parking in the main lot across from the North Terminal for short trips, or using private drivers for longer absences. On Google Maps and in trip reports, people mention the taxi ranks and drop-off lanes at Piarco by name, but there’s silence around a functioning valet stand, dedicated staff, or specific operating hours.

Practical tip: before counting on Valet Parking at $50.00/day, call the airport operator or your airline a day ahead and ask directly if a staffed valet lane next to the North Terminal curb is actually running during your departure time.
