Relay

Gate-side grab at Main Terminal: Relay

Near the Main Terminal gates at PNS, Relay covers last‑minute basics when you realize you forgot something at home. It sits post-security, so you can duck in after TSA and still be at your gate in under 5 minutes in this small airport. Think quick magazines, headphones, snacks, and bottled drinks rather than a full grocery run.

Relay usually opens for the first wave of morning departures around 4:30–5:00 a.m. and stays open into the evening bank of flights, roughly until the last Main Terminal departures. Prices run higher than downtown Pensacola: expect $3–$4 for bottled water, $4–$6 for candy or chips, and $15–$25 for basic travel accessories like chargers or neck pillows.

You’ll find standard national-brand snacks and soft drinks, plus a limited cooler section with bottled juices and cold beverages near the back wall. Newspapers, a few regional magazines, and basic paperbacks sit on racks close to the entrance, useful if your flight doesn’t have seatback screens. Phone cables, power banks, and wired earbuds hang behind the counter and on a small accessories wall.

Watch for two things: small travel-size toiletries can cost more than $5 each, and power banks often hit $30–$40, so check your bag before you pay airport markups. If you only need water and a quick snack before boarding, walk in, grab from the front coolers and the first snack aisle, and you’ll be back at your gate in under 3 minutes at typical PNS crowds.
