Gate-side grab-and-go at Hudson in PNS Main Terminal
Right past security in Pensacola’s Main Terminal, Hudson sits along the concourse serving the central gate area with snacks, drinks, and last-minute travel items. It’s the classic airport convenience shop: coolers of bottled drinks, shelves of chips and candy, plus Pensacola and Florida-themed souvenirs if you need a quick gift before boarding.
Opening hours generally track the day’s first and last departures, so figure roughly 5:00 a.m. through early evening for most flights out of PNS. You’ll find coffee, bottled water, energy drinks, and basic breakfast items like packaged pastries and snack bars, which beat going to your gate hungry on a 6:00 a.m. departure.
Pricing leans standard-airport: expect $3–$5 for bottled drinks and $2–$6 for snack packs or candy. Hudson also stocks travel essentials like phone chargers, headphones, neck pillows, and small toiletries, handy if TSA pulled your toothpaste or your cable died at the hotel. A single USB cable here still costs less than having a dead phone during boarding.
Selection runs national-brand heavy: think Coca-Cola and Pepsi drinks, mainstream chips, and recognizable candy labels rather than niche local products. Souvenir shelves carry PNS-branded shirts, magnets, mugs, and beach-themed items tied to the Gulf Coast, useful if you forgot to shop in town. Figure 5–10 minutes to walk in, browse, and pay before rejoining the boarding area.
Tip: Lines spike about 30 minutes before each bank of departures, so if you want coffee and a charger from Hudson, stop right after security instead of waiting until your group gets called.
