Overflow parking at Pensacola International is the airport’s safety valve: Overflow Lot 1 near Lot 2 and the McAllister Lot by Fire Station 6 both sit closed most days and only open when the main garages and surface lots hit capacity. Both overflow options are priced at $9 per calendar day, so you’re trading convenience for a guaranteed legal space when the signs at the entrance all say “full.”

Overflow Lot 1 sits on the northwest side of the airport campus off Francis Taylor Blvd, next to Lot 2 and about a 5 minute walk from the Main terminal doors. There’s no shuttle service for this lot, vehicle clearance is listed at 14 ft, and the maximum stay is 30 days, billed one calendar day at a time. Think of this as the on-foot overflow option when you’re fine rolling your bag across the surface lots to get to check‑in.

The McAllister Lot sits out by Fire Station 6 on 9th Avenue and is a separate overflow area that also only opens during peak demand. It’s priced at $9 per calendar day but capped at $36 for up to 30 days, which effectively makes it the cheapest long‑term parking at PNS when it’s open. This lot runs on‑demand shuttle service instead of a walk, with pickup handled by LAZ Parking at 850‑435‑8767.

Regulars watch for airport notices and roadside “lot full” signs on holiday weekends, then swing toward Overflow Lot 1 or the McAllister Lot only when the main lots are closed out. If you end up in McAllister, snap a photo of your row, save the 850‑435‑8767 shuttle number in your phone, and call a few minutes before you’re ready to head back to the Main terminal.
