Lot 1

Remote

$9 a day gets you on-airport long-term parking you can walk

Lot 1 sits just south of the Main Terminal entrance and runs $9 per day, so it undercuts the closer garages while still keeping you on airport property. It’s marked as a remote lot, but you’re not dealing with off-airport operators or extra taxes and fees.

The walk from Lot 1 to the Main Terminal doors runs about 5 minutes at a normal pace, assuming you’re rolling a standard carry-on and not wrangling three checked bags. If you’d rather ride, the airport lists a shuttle time of about 10 minutes, which is useful in bad weather or with small kids.

Officially, Lot 1 falls under the same LAZ Parking management as the other on-site lots at PNS, with posted rules that cap stays at 30 days before vehicles are subject to towing. The airport suggests calling the Parking Manager or Airport Administration ahead if your trip runs longer than that 30-day limit.

Payment works like the other PNS lots: you pull a ticket at the Lot 1 entrance lane near the main airport access road and pay on exit at the gate, with the $9 daily rate starting after the first 24 hours. There’s no premium option or reserved section here, so it’s first-come, first-served during holiday peaks and busy spring break weekends.

Tip: If you want the 5‑minute walk, park closer to the north side of Lot 1 toward the terminal; if rain is in the forecast, grab a space near the shuttle pick-up point to keep that 10‑minute ride easy.
