Gift Shop

Gate-side trinkets at PNQ’s NITB

This simple Gift Shop sits airside in the NITB terminal at Pune International Airport, a short walk from the main domestic gates. It’s the catch-all stop when you realise you forgot a present before boarding an IndiGo or Air India flight. Stock rotates, but you’ll usually see local souvenirs, basic toys, and last-minute knick-knacks on the shelves.

Prices here skew airport-high: basic keychains and magnets often start around ₹150–₹200, with small boxed souvenirs and gift items climbing into the ₹400–₹800 range. You won’t find luxury brands, just generic items mixed with a few Pune- or Maharashtra-themed pieces. Cards are commonly accepted, but keep at least ₹500 in cash in case the POS machine is down.

The shop typically trades through the main flight bank in the evening, roughly from the first departures around 5:00–6:00 to the late flights after 22:00. It sits post-security in NITB, so this is not an option for anyone meeting arrivals in the public concourse. If you’ve already cleared security and have 10–15 minutes before boarding, it’s an easy loop from most boarding gates.

You won’t get specialist regional handicrafts or duty-free pricing here; think more generic gifts than curated local finds. Stock can feel repetitive if you’ve flown through PNQ a few times in the same month. One practical move: do a quick scan here first, then compare against kiosk stands near your gate before spending more than ₹500 on souvenirs.
