€8–€10 gets you a jamón sandwich fast in T

Enrique Tomás Experience sits airside in Terminal T at Palma de Mallorca Airport, focused almost entirely on Spanish ham. You’ll see legs of jamón serrano and ibérico hanging behind the counter and a fridge with vacuum-packed packs for takeaway. It’s a quick option if you want something more local than another generic pre-made baguette.

The core move here is a bocadillo de jamón, usually around €8–€10 depending on the ham quality and bread choice. Portions are decent for a pre-flight snack: one sandwich can hold you for a 2–3 hour hop to mainland Spain or Germany. Add a café solo or cortado for roughly €2–€3 and you’re still under €15 for a filling stop.

Menu boards list different jamón grades by the 100g, starting with standard serrano and going up to ibérico de cebo and occasionally bellota-level cuts. If you care about fat marbling, spend the extra few euros on one of the higher ibérico tiers. Cheaper serrano works fine in a warm sandwich but can feel a bit dry if you eat it sliced on its own.

You can also grab sealed packs of sliced jamón and small cones of ham cubes for about €5–€12, which travel well on a 2–4 hour flight and are usually fine with EU security since they’re not liquid. Drinks lean basic: bottled water, soft drinks, and standard espresso-based coffee, all clearly priced on overhead menus in euros.

Service is counter-order with trays, and most orders land in under 5–10 minutes even when a mid-morning wave hits after the 09:00–11:00 departures. Figure another 10 minutes if you want anything sliced fresh from a whole leg. If your gate is more than a 5-minute walk, ask them to cut the sandwich in halves so you can eat the rest en route.
