Gate-side tech fix at Main Terminal InMotion

Next to other Main Terminal retail, InMotion Entertainment is PIT’s electronics stop when your earbuds die at 8:00 p.m. They usually keep airport hours that track the flight banks, roughly 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., but staff start winding down close to the last departures. Stock leans hard into travel gear, so think phone chargers, over-ear headphones, Bluetooth earbuds, and portable speakers.

Prices run higher than Target or Best Buy; a basic Lightning or USB-C cable can hit $20–$30, and over-ear noise-cancelling headphones often sit well north of $250. You’re paying for location inside the Main Terminal past security, not bargains. If your cable still kind of works, maybe nurse it to your destination and buy a backup later.

Brand-wise you’ll see the usual suspects: Apple-compatible accessories, Samsung-friendly cables, and big-name headphones like Sony, Bose, and JBL on the shelves. They also stock power banks in several capacities, plus travel adapters if you’re heading out on an international flight from PIT’s Main Terminal and realize too late that your plug won’t fit in Europe.

Service is hit-or-miss like most airport electronics shops, but they will usually open sealed boxes so you can confirm the connector (USB-C vs Lightning) before dropping $25. Card payments are standard; cash is fine but count change, especially if you’re rushing to a gate in the C or D concourses. Keep your receipt in case a cable fails before your connection lands.

Tip: Check your exact phone model and port before you walk over; knowing “USB-C vs Lightning vs micro-USB” saves at least one trip back through the Main Terminal concourse.
