Chips, candy, and last-minute fixes between Gates 2–6

Market 361 sits in the Main terminal by Gates 2–6, basically PIE’s mini-mart once you’re past security. Think coolers of soda and bottled water, single-serve chips, candy bars, gum, and a few grab-and-go snacks instead of a full newsstand. It’s post-security, so you can duck over after TSA and still be at your gate in under 2 minutes.

Hours track the flight bank, roughly first departures through the last evening flight, but it’s not a 24/7 setup. Prices run high even by airport standards — expect to pay several dollars for a standard bottled drink and more than grocery-store prices for basic toiletries. You’ll see small racks of travel essentials like phone chargers, earbuds, and travel-size pain relievers near the counter.

Regulars flying out of PIE say they stock up at Publix on Ulmerton Road and only hit Market 361 “in a pinch.” The main complaint: limited healthier choices compared with what you’d grab outside, with more candy and chips than nuts, protein bars, or fruit. If you want something better than a candy bar before a flight to, say, Cincinnati or Indianapolis, buy it before you clear security.

Watch out for sticker shock on drinks and snack packs; it adds up fast if you’re buying for a family of 3–4. Best move: refill a reusable bottle at a water fountain in the Main terminal and use Market 361 only for one or two specific items you forgot.
