Travel Essentials Kiosk

Across from Main Terminal security, Travel Essentials Kiosk covers the gaps.

This small stand sits airside in the Main Terminal, just past the single TSA checkpoint serving all PIA gates. Stock shifts a bit, but you usually find phone chargers, basic headphones, travel-sized toiletries, and over-the-counter meds at typical airport markups (expect $15–$30 for cords and earbuds). It’s the closest place to grab last-minute items before boarding one of the Allegiant, American, or United regional flights that run out of Peoria.

Hours loosely follow the flight bank, with the kiosk generally open from the first departures around 4:30–5:00 a.m. through the last evening flights around 8:00–9:00 p.m. If you’ve got a 6:00 a.m. departure to ORD or DFW, don’t count on everything being fully stocked, but you can usually at least grab toothpaste, a toothbrush, and a phone cable. For late-night arrivals, assume it’s closed once the final inbound clears.

Inventory skews toward basics: travel pillows, eye masks, earplugs, TSA-approved liquids bags, plus a rack of snacks and bottled drinks alongside the tech gear. Snacks sit in the $3–$6 range; drinks run about $3 for water or soda. No hot food here, so for anything more substantial you’ll be walking over to the airport café near the same Main Terminal gate area.

Tip: if you realize you forgot a charger or pain reliever while parking in the main lot on Dirksen Parkway, don’t burn time driving back home; just clear Main Terminal security and hit Travel Essentials Kiosk before your gate call.
