Free Shuttle Bus

Remote

Free rides from the general lots start at 4:30am

The Free Shuttle Bus runs from the remote general parking areas at Peoria (PIA) to the Main terminal and back, so you skip the walk without paying close-in rates. It operates daily from 4:30am to 11:00pm, matching most of the morning and evening departure banks.

Parking in the general lots itself is $0 per day, and the shuttle ride is also free, so your only cost is time. The bus loops between the remote areas and the terminal entrance, picking up at marked stops in the lots and dropping you near check-in in the Main terminal.

The shuttle is aimed at travelers who leave their car in the standard remote parking instead of the higher-priced premium options. Regulars park in the general lots, grab the shuttle during the 4:30am–11:00pm window, and only pay for their flight, not for parking.

Watch out for the overnight gap: there is no shuttle service between 11:00pm and 4:30am. If your flight is delayed past 11:00pm or you land on one of the last arrivals and miss the bus, you may face a walk through the lot in the dark or need to wait until service resumes at 4:30am.

Tip: If your scheduled arrival back into PIA is after 10:30pm, park in a spot you’re comfortable walking to at night in case the last shuttle has already passed your section of the lot.
