Gate-side tech stop in Terminal 4

Right in Terminal 4, InMotion fills the “I forgot my charger” gap before boarding. It sits post-security among the main concourse shops, so you can duck in between TSA and your gate without backtracking. Think last-minute audio gear, power, and travel electronics, not big-box pricing or selection.

Most traffic here is for phone cables and wall plugs, with prices running higher than Target or Best Buy by a few dollars per item. You’ll see every major phone brand covered with Lightning, USB‑C, and older micro‑USB cords on the same wall. They also stock power banks, usually in the 5,000–20,000 mAh range, that can get you through a PHX–JFK roundtrip without hunting outlets.

Headphones and earbuds are the other big category: expect multiple models from JBL, Sony, and sometimes Bose, at near‑retail pricing. You can usually test on‑ear or over‑ear sets at a demo station, but in-ear buds are sealed. Basic wired earbuds under $20 sit by the register for “plane just pushed back and my Bluetooth died” emergencies.

Staff can set up Bluetooth pairing on your phone in a couple of minutes if you ask, and they’ll check device compatibility so you don’t buy the wrong cable for a USB‑C iPad or older iPhone. One practical tip: if you only need a simple cable or plug, check the small racks near the entrance first; the cheaper house-brand accessories are usually there, not in the glass cases.
