Gate-side caffeine fix in Terminal B

This Starbucks sits in Terminal B at Philadelphia International (PHL), handy if your flight leaves from B10–B16 and you want coffee without backtracking into A-East or C. It’s post-security, so you can walk here after TSA and keep an eye on the nearby departure boards while you wait for your drink.

Expect the standard Starbucks menu: tall brewed coffees start around $3, espresso drinks jump to $5–$7, and breakfast sandwiches run roughly $4–$6. They usually carry the core lineup of pastries and protein boxes, but limited airport storage means seasonal drinks sell out faster than at a street-side store.

Lines spike hard between 6:00–9:00 a.m. and again around the 4:00–6:00 p.m. bank of departures out of Terminal B. With only one register line, a latte can easily take 10–15 minutes during the morning rush. If your boarding pass shows Group 1 or 2 for an American flight from B, you still want to be here at least 30 minutes before departure to avoid cutting it close.

Seating in this part of Terminal B is mostly standard gate chairs; there usually aren’t dedicated Starbucks tables. Power outlets near B8–B10 are your best bet if you need to plug in while sipping a cold brew. If you’re just grabbing something quick before walking to C or A-West, factor in a 5–8 minute stroll depending on your gate.

Tip: Mobile ordering inside airports can be hit or miss, but if the Starbucks app shows this Terminal B store, place your order as you exit security so the drink is ready by the time you reach the counter.
