Sky Asian Bistro

Gate-side noodles and sushi near B15 in Terminal B

Sky Asian Bistro sits airside in Terminal B, roughly a 3–5 minute walk from gates B10–B18, so it works on most American and Spirit departures from this pier. It’s a full-service sit-down restaurant with a separate bar, useful if you have 60–90 minutes before boarding and don’t want to eat out of a paper box at the gate.

The menu leans pan-Asian: expect sushi rolls in the $12–$18 range, noodle bowls and stir-fries around $16–$22, and appetizers like gyoza and edamame under $10. Portions run bigger than the grab-and-go spots in B and C, and you can usually get a miso soup and a basic roll for under $25 before tip. There’s also a kids’ section, which helps if you’re trying to feed a family before a long AA flight.

Bar side, Sky Asian Bistro pours draft beer around $9–$11, basic sake and wine by the glass, and the usual airport-strong cocktails in the low teens. Seats at the bar often turn faster than tables during the 4–7 p.m. bank of departures from gates B6–B16, so solo travelers can usually slide in and be eating within 15–20 minutes. TVs behind the bar stay tuned to ESPN and news, handy on longer delays.

Quality sits a notch above the generic food court options near B3 and B7, but sushi rice can be hit-or-miss if you show up right before closing around 9–10 p.m. Turnover of hot dishes tends to stay better during the midday wave of flights between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., when the kitchen is busiest and orders come out in 15–25 minutes. Staff are generally fine with splitting checks for groups of 3–4.

Tip: if your flight leaves from C gates, budget at least 15 minutes to walk back through the B–C connector after you pay; don’t order a second round of drinks if boarding starts in under 30 minutes.
