Kiehl's

T concourse duty-free style prices without the duty-free chaos

Kiehl's sits post-security in PDX’s main T concourse, right off the central hall, so you hit it on the way to most gates. It runs daily with typical airport retail hours, usually opening before 6:00 a.m. and staying open into the evening push. Shelves are full of the usual Kiehl's lineup: Ultra Facial Cream, Facial Fuel, Creme de Corps, and all the tiny serums that actually fit in a 1-quart bag.

Travel sizes are the smartest buy here; you’ll see plenty of 30–75 ml bottles and 28 g jars near the front. Prices track standard Kiehl's retail, so no airport markup, but also no duty-free discount. If you’re coming from rainy Portland winter, grab lip balm #1 and a 50 ml moisturizer; both handle dry aircraft air better than drugstore stuff from the pre-security shops.

Staff usually offers quick skin-type chats and pumps out samples, so ask directly if you want a 5 ml sachet of something before dropping $40+ on a full bottle. Men’s “Facial Fuel” line sits in its own section, so you can be in and out in under 5 minutes if you already know the product name.

Watch your timing: early-morning bank around 6:00–8:00 a.m. and the late-afternoon wave around 4:00–6:00 p.m. bring the longest lines at the single checkout. If you’re tight on time, skip experimenting and just restock what you already use. One last tip: ask if they have any travel sets under $50 behind the counter; they rotate them and don’t always have them out front.
