Gate-side Capers Bistro sits in Terminal T’s main concourse

Capers Bistro sits airside in Terminal T, a few minutes’ walk from most PDX gates, so you can keep an eye on boarding times without cutting it too close. It’s a full-service restaurant and bar, not a grab-and-go kiosk, so budget at least 35–45 minutes if you want a sit-down meal before your flight out of T.

This is a Northwest-focused spot: expect salmon, seasonal produce, and a stronger wine list than you usually see in an airport terminal. Pricing runs in the typical airport range, with mains generally sitting in the mid-teens to low $20s, and glasses of Oregon wine often landing around the $10–$14 mark. There’s a proper bar counter as well as standard tables, so solo travelers can slide onto a barstool and be in and out a bit faster.

Capers Bistro opens early with breakfast for morning departures out of Terminal T, then flips to a lunch and dinner menu that carries straight through the evening bank of flights. Full alcohol service runs alongside food hours, which helps if your connection drops you into PDX during that awkward late-morning or mid-afternoon window. Portions lean moderately sized rather than giant, which matters if you’re heading into a long-haul leg and don’t want to feel overstuffed in 21C.

Tip: check your gate on the monitors by Capers Bistro before you sit; PDX does occasional late gate shuffles in Terminal T, and you don’t want a last-minute jog across the concourse with a fresh bill in hand.
