Near the center of Terminal T, Café Yumm runs a quick-serve line that feels a lot like a local Portland fast-casual spot dropped into the concourse. You’re airside in T, so no extra security shuffle. Expect a counter-order setup with food out in under 10–15 minutes during normal mealtimes, a bit slower around the 7–9 a.m. and 5–7 p.m. banks.
Café Yumm leans on rice bowls, beans, and the signature Yumm Sauce instead of greasy bar food. Bowls and plates usually land in the $9–$14 range, with add‑ons like tofu or chicken pushing things closer to $15. Portions run bigger than what you’ll get at most PDX snack kiosks on the same concourse, and you can carry everything out toward the T gates without an issue.
Vegans and gluten-avoiders do fine here: several bowls come vegetarian by default, and staff in Terminal T are used to subbing tofu or skipping cheese. Breakfast items are more limited after about 10:30 a.m., so don’t bank on a morning scramble later in the day. Drinks are the usual quick-service mix: fountain soda, bottled juices, and drip coffee at standard airport prices.
If your flight boards from the lower gate numbers in T, give yourself at least 20 minutes from joining the Café Yumm line to walking back to the podium with food in hand. Order for takeout, grab extra napkins at the counter, and eat at your gate so you can hear every boarding call.
