By gate T, this is PDX’s main Vietnamese sit-down option
Bambuza Vietnam Kitchen sits in Terminal T airside, a short walk from most T-gates, and fills the gap between fast food and a real meal. It runs through typical flight banks, opening early enough for mid-morning departures and staying open into the evening rush, so you can usually squeeze in a bowl of something hot before boarding.
The menu leans familiar: pho, vermicelli bowls, banh mi, and rice plates. Expect airport pricing, with most mains landing in the $15–$22 range and appetizers a few dollars under that. Portions run decent for PDX, so one noodle bowl can carry you through a 3–4 hour flight. If you want something quick, a banh mi and a drink travels better to the gate than a full soup.
Broth-based dishes like beef pho can take a few extra minutes; give yourself at least 30 minutes before boarding, especially when T’s security lines spike around the 7–9 a.m. and 4–6 p.m. banks. Seating is tight in the immediate Bambuza area, so you may end up walking your food to nearby common tables or straight to T’s gate seating.
Beer and basic cocktails are available, with typical PDX airport bar pricing by the pint and by the well pour. If you’re close to gate T and want a real meal instead of another $8 snack box, this is the practical option. Tip: order banh mi or a rice plate if your flight boards in under 25 minutes; save pho for a longer preflight window.
