Valet

Front-of-terminal valet at PDX runs $45 per day

PDX Valet Parking sits right next to Terminal T and runs a flat $45/day rate, aimed at people who want to step out of the car and head straight to the ticket counters. You pull into the signed valet lane at the terminal, hand over the keys, and they park the car in the adjacent facility while you walk a short distance into the building. It’s airport-operated, not one of the off-airport “valet-style” shuttle lots that ring the field.

Pricing is simple: $45 for each 24-hour period, so a three-day work trip comes out to $135 before any taxes or fees. There’s no hunting for a spot and no shuttle time to budget; you’re at the terminal doors within a couple of minutes of pulling up. Compared with the on-site parking garage and economy lot, valet is the top of the price ladder but trades dollars for time and less hassle.

Valet operates to match normal flight banks, so expect service aligned with typical PDX departures from early morning into the late evening; always double-check current hours on the official PDX site if you’re landing around midnight. Because it’s right at Terminal T, this works well if you’re dropping a family at check-in, juggling bags, or arriving close to boarding time. You’ll still clear the same TSA checkpoint as everyone else, so build at least 90 minutes before departure for normal domestic flights.

Practical tip: price out your trip length before you commit. At $45/day, anything over four or five days can pencil out cheaper in the long-term garage or an off-airport lot with a 10–15 minute shuttle, while valet makes the most sense for 1–3 day business runs or tight turnarounds.
