Coastal News

Near the Main Terminal food court, Coastal News is your grab-and-go stop for reading material and small essentials.

You’ll find Coastal News in the Main Terminal at Palm Beach International (PBI), post-security, a short walk from most gates. It runs typical airport retail hours, roughly opening with the first departures and closing around the last evening flights, so early birds and late departures are covered. Think of it as the standard airport newsstand: magazines, newspapers, paperback bestsellers, plus bottled drinks and packaged snacks.

Prices sit in the usual airport range: expect $3–$4 for bottled water or soda, $2–$5 for chips and candy, and higher markups on travel accessories like phone chargers. This is a quick stop if you forgot headphones, a charging cable, or need a neck pillow before a 3–4 hour flight. Inventory leans toward big national titles rather than niche publications, but you can usually grab at least one local Palm Beach paper.

Selection focuses on grab-and-go: single-serve snacks, gum for takeoff and landing, and compact items that fit easily in a personal item or underseat bag. You won’t find full meals or hot food here, so pair a stop at Coastal News with a visit to the Main Terminal food court if you need something more substantial. Lines tend to be short, especially outside the 6–9 a.m. bank of departures.

Tip: If your gate is within 5–10 minutes of the Main Terminal center, swing by Coastal News once you’re through security and pick up water and reading material here so you don’t pay even higher prices at smaller gate kiosks.
