Short-Term Parking at Palm Beach International caps at a $21 daily maximum, with $3 per 20 minutes, so same-day or 24–48 hour trips often price out close to a couple of Uber/Lyft legs. The garage sits at the Main Terminal and is set up for short stays rather than week-long vacations.

From the Short-Term garage, you walk roughly 3 minutes under cover straight into the terminal check-in area, with direct access and zero shuttle time. If you’re flying out of PBI for just a night or two, that under-roof walk can matter more than the few dollars you’d save by moving to Economy.

Rates are simple: $3 per 20 minutes up to the $21 daily cap, then it just clocks by days. For a one-day business turn or a 36-hour beach detour, you’re typically at one day or just over, not stacking a big multi-day bill like the long-term lots.

Payment is flexible: Short-Term takes cash, credit cards, and SunPass at the exit plazas. Regulars with SunPass roll through the signed SunPass lanes to skip the cash and card queues, which trims a few minutes off the exit at peak afternoon bank times.

Heads-up on construction: Level 4 of the Short-Term garage is scheduled to be closed May 1–July 31, 2026, with levels 5–7 still open. During that window, follow the detour signage and expect a bit more circling on the upper levels before you find a spot.

On storm days or during 90°F-plus heat, a lot of locals pick Short-Term instead of Economy so they stay under cover from car to check-in, especially on single-night trips where the rate gap is small. If you’re aiming for this garage around holidays, build in an extra 10 minutes to drive up a level or two and still make that 3-minute terminal walk.
