$12/day here gets you parking and free Level 2 charging

In Garage D at Norfolk (Main terminal), Electric Vehicle Parking runs at the standard daily rate of $12/day, but Level 2 charging is included with no extra per‑kWh or hourly fee. You park, plug in, and only pay the same daily price as any other Garage D customer.

The EV spaces sit inside Garage D, which is attached to the terminal by a covered walkway, so the walk to the Main terminal check-in counters is about 3 minutes. There’s no shuttle loop or outdoor trek; it’s the same indoor route other Garage D drivers use to reach security.

There are 12 dedicated EV stalls in total: 6 on the ground level and 6 on level 3 of Garage D. All of these stalls are billed at the same $12/day daily parking rate, which makes this one of the better value options at ORF if you want to return to a fully charged car.

Because Garage D has better height clearance than Garages B and C, it’s the realistic choice for many crossovers or small SUVs with roof racks that need charging. Those vehicles can still access the ground-level EV stalls without worrying about scraping in a lower garage.

Regulars usually drive straight into Garage D and check the ground-level EV chargers first; if all 6 are taken, they head up to level 3 for the remaining 6 spots instead of wasting time circling other garages that don’t have chargers. Many also reserve Garage D daily parking ahead of time, using the included charging as a reason to stick with the $12/day on-airport rate instead of cheaper off-airport lots.

Practical tip: if you’re leaving for more than 2–3 days, plan to arrive a few extra minutes early so you have time to loop ground level and level 3 of Garage D and snag an EV space before your flight.
