Gate-side in Terminal 1, Ola handles quick coffee runs.
Ola sits airside in Terminal 1 at Francisco de Sá Carneiro Airport, a handy stop if your flight boards from the Schengen gates. It runs typical airport daytime hours, roughly from early-morning departures through late-evening flights, so you can grab something before that 06:00 boarding or on a 22:00 return to Porto.
Expect a simple café-style setup: counter service, a few small tables, and prices a notch above central Porto but normal for OPO. Coffee runs around €2 for an espresso, with pastries like pastel de nata in the €1.50–€2 range. It’s the sort of place you hit for a 10-minute turnaround between security and the gate.
Food is basic café fare: sandwiches, pastries, and snack packs. A ham-and-cheese sandwich will land around €5–€6, bottled water about €2. You’ll see the usual soft drinks and juices in the fridge, plus a couple of beers and small wine formats in the €4–€6 band if you want something stronger before boarding.
Quality tracks with other European airport cafés: fine for a quick bite, not a destination meal. Fresh pastries tend to move fastest on early departures before 09:00, so that’s the best time for anything from the bakery case. Later in the evening, expect more pre-packed options than freshly made items as the kitchen winds down.
Service is counter-only, and payment by card is standard; contactless works with most foreign Visa and Mastercard cards, and you won’t need cash. Lines tend to spike in the 05:30–07:30 and 17:00–19:00 banks when multiple flights out of Terminal 1 board at once.
Tip: if your gate is at the far end of Terminal 1, grab coffee and a snack at Ola before you start the 5–10 minute walk to the remote stands; options thin out as you get closer to the last gates.
