Think of OOL as the place you leave the car, not the place you fill the battery.
OOL’s main terminal is T1, and all public car parks feed into that single terminal, but none of the official maps or parking pages list dedicated ParkCharge EV bays, charger types, or kW ratings. If you’re used to airport setups with 22 kW AC in premium parking, you won’t find that level of detail here. Plan range so you can comfortably drive to an off-airport charger right after landing, even if your flight into T1 runs an hour late.
Because there’s no published ParkCharge EV Zone layout, you also don’t get the usual specifics: no count of EV-only bays, no published per‑kWh tariff, and no kW speed listed. That makes it risky to arrive on a near‑empty battery and hope for a rapid top‑up before check‑in. The safer move is to hit a 50 kW or 150 kW site in Tugun, Bilinga, or along the M1, then roll into OOL with at least 30–40% charge left.
Until ParkCharge EV Zone details show up in official OOL documentation, treat this as a regular car park in the T1 precinct and build your charging plan around third‑party stations.
