5 airlines 7 restaurants 2 lounges 5 shops

Terminal T2 hosts 5 airlines. You'll find 7 dining options, 2 lounges, 5 shops here.

Aspire Lounge opened in 2022 in ONT’s Terminal 2

T2 sits on the north side of Ontario International and handles Alaska, Delta, Frontier, JetBlue, and United flights out of a single concourse of roughly a dozen gates. Security lines here usually move faster than LAX, but mornings from 5:00–8:00 a.m. can stack up with United and Delta departures. All restaurants and the Aspire Lounge sit post-security, so clear TSA before you start looking for food or coffee.

Aspire Lounge: paid access near the T2 gates

The Aspire Lounge took over from the old Escape Lounge in May 2022 and sits airside in Terminal 2, a short walk past the main Hudson News toward the mid-concourse gates. Entry typically runs around $40–$50 per visit, either via day pass or eligible lounge programs; check hours, as they often follow the morning and late-afternoon bank of departures. Expect basic hot snacks, soft drinks, coffee, and Wi‑Fi rather than a long buffet or full bar. Build the buffer if you want to sit here for an hour before a United or Alaska flight.

Caffeine and quick bites: Dunkin’, Chick-fil-A, and Subway

Dunkin’ sits near the security exit and usually opens by 4:30 a.m., catching the first Delta and United pushes with drip coffee and breakfast sandwiches in the $4–$7 range. Chick-fil-A sits deeper into the concourse and tends to draw the longest lines around the 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. window; mobile ordering sometimes closes early when they get slammed. Subway fills the gap for custom sandwiches under $10 when chicken sandwiches or pizza sound heavy, and stays open into the later evening departures.

Sit-down options: Brewery X and Pizza Vino

Brewery X sits closer to the middle gates and runs like a casual bar with burgers, salads, and local taps, where a burger plus beer can push $25–$30 with tip. It’s the spot to camp on a delay, with TV screens and power at some bar seats, but food can take 20–30 minutes when multiple United or Frontier flights leave close together. Pizza Vino offers whole pies and slices in the $5–$8 per-slice range, good for sharing when you have a family on a JetBlue flight and an hour to spare. Don’t waste a Polaris visit on a 35-minute connection, but you can squeeze in a Pizza Vino slice in that window.

Grab-and-go: Urban Crave and Yo-Kai Express machines

Urban Crave sits near the later-numbered gates with premade wraps, breakfast burritos, and bottled drinks for around $8–$12 per item, handy if boarding starts in 15 minutes. Yo-Kai Express ramen machines pop up closer to the middle of the concourse and push out hot bowls in about 60–90 seconds, usually priced just under $15. These machines take cards and mobile wallets only, so don’t plan on using leftover cash. It’s the fastest way to get something hot if your Frontier boarding pass already shows “Group 2 now boarding.”

Shops and last-minute gear

Evolve by Hudson in T2 leans into travel accessories and souvenirs, carrying neck pillows, chargers, and local-branded items typically in the $10–$40 range. Standard Hudson News and Ink by Hudson outlets sit nearer to security and mid-concourse, with magazines, snacks, and bottled drinks if you just want a water and chips before a short hop to SFO. Tech on the Go fills in gaps with cables, headphones, and power banks, which matter when you realize at 9:00 p.m. that your only charger is still plugged in at home. There’s also a Lego Machine vending unit that dispenses small sets and figurines, handy under-$20 entertainment for kids on evening flights.

Terminal 2 layout and one tip

Terminal 2 uses a straight concourse, so the farthest gate walk from security usually tops out around 5–7 minutes at a normal pace. Restrooms sit roughly every few gates, with one cluster near Dunkin’ and another nearer to Pizza Vino, so you rarely need to backtrack. Power outlets are hit-or-miss at the older gate seats, but newer rows near the mid-concourse United and Alaska gates have in-seat plugs. One tip: if you want Aspire Lounge time plus a sit-down meal at Brewery X, eat first, then head to the lounge; staff there sometimes start winding down food options before the final night bank of departures.
